Hubby thinks I should complain

I just was disqualified from a survey. Want to know what they asked? Honest. The question was: "How many times have you thought about killing yourself this year?" I answered none. Bing. You don't qualify. What IF: that rather nasty question had triggered something in me? What about that? Hubby says the question gets into mental health issues and should not be on a survey. I think its just a nasty question. Beyond rude.

You could have answered, "Every time I see idiotic questions in a survey."

@sallypup Can't you do the survey again or use someone else's name so that you can give this answer?

@MALUSE The survey went to where ever bad surveys go.

I feel like that question should only be allowed on surveys with a clear, quick and easy to read disclaimer so as not to trigger anyone. It's not just those who have contemplated it that it would trigger either. I would not like that question.

I can't see how such a question has any legitimacy on a survey. They really need to be told it's not on.

I have had that question asked to me on a survey during this Covid pandemic. Some of the questions they ask nowadays are incredibly invasive.

Wow, I am not surprised, but I wouldn't want to do a survey that asks questions like that anyway.
