How you control your anger?

There are many things that happen in a day which can make you angry at home or in the way to office, at office, on the way to home and even on phone too. It's very difficult for me to control my anger and that's why I don't have many friends but slowly am working on my patience level but still am unable to control my anger. How you control your anger? Any tips?

I'm not sure if this correct but what do you think? Anger is a feeling. What do we do with it? I don't want to hold on to it for too long. I let it go with the intention of later looking calmly at what is the cause of my anger.

Try finding a empty space and the let out all of your anger by screaming. It works for me.

I'm pretty easy-going, but I find that it's necessary to count slowly to 10 or higher or just bite my tongue if I do get annoyed.

it can be really difficult. i have read many how to not be angry books over the years. The ones that work are the ones we put the most into. for me i try to see the other side of the argument.

It is not possible to be angry all alone. There might be something or someone bothering. If no one is around it is not possible to be angry.

@Butterfingers I try to avoid company of such people who try to provoke me. I prefer to be all by myself when I am angry. That calms me down. Plus some chilled water as well.

I talk sternly to myself and think about the good things about that person and not the bad things.
