I Need a New Topic

I'm totally bored and wonder why you aren't with reading the same thing from me every day. I could tell you how rude I think some people are. I was leaving Wal-Mart and I saw a car waiting for another to leave. The car was blocking the aisle so people couldn't leave, not that anyone was. She wasn't in my way. Yes, I know it was a she waiting for the handicap parking space. I know there were plenty of others for her to use, but she wanted that one and prepared to wait for the person to leave before she slid into the spot. Then I see some people who seem to have an entitled attitude. They don't wear masks, even though it's labeled on the door they are required. I think it's rude they think they can do whatever they want. For the most part, people are nice and helpful. A gentleman offered to put two cases of water in the cart for me. I was just trying to figure out how to get them in my cart with my cart in an awkward position and the cases a little taller than I like. He took care of it for me. Wonderful blessing. Then when I wasn't totally expecting it, the cashier was helpful. I bought a bag of potatoes on Saturday from Aldi, where the gentleman was nice this morning, and I asked if they take returns as I've had four rotten potatoes so far. She gave me a refund on the spot and told me to get another bag and I didn't need to pay for it, and I don't need to bring the other bag back. She said they have always had that policy. Awesome! In this world, you get the good and the bad. You just don't know when you're going to get them. Does anyone here miss my Daily Bible Study? I can post it again if you want it. Just because I'm not posting it doesn't mean I'm not doing it. Okay, this is long enough for those of you who don't like long posts, sorry about that. I've been told all my life I'm long-winded and a talker. So, how about it? Would you like something different from me? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

I always enjoy your posts even if they are about the same things. I never have much to talk about especially these days when I've been in the house more than out. I think they'll always be those people who are selfish, don't care about others and won't wear a mask. I think it takes a lot of patience to be out and about these days.

Thank you. I agree. There will always be people who think they don't need to follow the rules. It does take a lot of patience during this time. At least there were more people with masks than without. Those without stood out.

I enjoy your posts as well. And for selfish people... unfortunately there are way too many of them. We simply have to do our best to do better.

It was totally unexpected. I would have brought the other bag back but they didn't want it. Thank you.

ugh I've been in situations where you get to witness mean people but then also good ones. sometimes the good ones make you get hope for humanity back...and it's hard to forget when someone was mean to you. I wish it was easier to focus on the positive side

@just4him That's actually a great way to do that, I've been doing it on a notebook as part of a meditation "challenge" but making it a habit like think about things you're grateful for before going to bed makes days better.

I always have this kind of service at Aldi, if something is bad they tell me to take a new bag and not to bring back the others, they have a great service. I like to read different topics every day, this one was an interesting post.

@just4him Aldi is a very good store, I often go there, also because I like what they do of the food that reach expiry day, they donate to the animal shelters. The stale bread is donated to the local farms.

this is the usual scene when you go to public places. Am sorry for that. Today, i went to the wet market to buy meat, the meat vendor was not wearing a mask too.

See the bit about the masks. Its compulsory here to wear them in shops. Some people ignore this totally even though they know its a fine if they are caught. I dont call these people rude. I call them ignorant and thoughtless. Rude doesnt really do it for me.
