Phew, it makes me fear even now because there's a crack in my room and it's because of the Mango Tree we had before. Were all told to stay home and yet there's a possibly a quake could hit us any time. how sad that is. The video states that it was our Philippine Fault that cause it move.
Today marks the 26th anniversary of the "killer quake" in Luzon that killed thousands of people within 45 seconds. With magnitude 7.8, this devastating earth...

I experienced staying in Baguio Park and Baguio Hyatt that where both flattened prior to the earthquake and I felt very lucky not to be there when it happened, I could almost imagine those hotels.

They should make sure that the building has a structure that can withstand an earthquake.

That was interesting (but sad). We have a long fault that looks a lot like the Philippine Fault shown in that video. It's called the Median Tectonic Line and runs from Kyushu up to the Tokyo area, in the middle of the islands, just like yours.

Hello @petatonicsca Honestly, I only knew generally about us being part of Ring of Fire. But didn't knew about the Philippine fault until that video.
