Dinner and a show

Tonight I made a southwestern inspired dinner. I had seasoned chicken breast strips that I rolled in a soft flour tortilla with peppers and onions and cheddar cheese. Notable about this is I used both bell pepper and jalapeno from OUR OWN container garden. On the side ranch beans with rice. Also sour cream and salsa. Now for the "show". I mentioned in my other discussion that the cats were not doing their usual routine of being out all day. Mickey laid on my fabric cutting table all day except for a five minute stretch when Bob got home. Tinker spent most of today on our bed. Until we began to prepare our food. Then he walked directly in front of our feet in the kitchen and the dining room. That was not the show. The show happened while we ate. First Tinker the clown laid in the floor and "thumped" his tail.Repeatedly, for several minutes. He makes so much noise with it, I do not think I ever had a cat do that before.(I have heard dogs do this) Then he chewed on his paws, the front, and the back. He acted like his back paws were little animals. At the height of his performance he put his back paw in his mouth and turned a flip. Or two. Gracefully then he stretched out to his full length, rolled on his back to show his belly, then walked away. All of this for our entertainment while we ate.

Tinker the clown sounds a very appropriate name for him! Fancy thumping his tail enough to make a noise.

I find it very odd in a cat.

He is. He is just about a year old, and acts like a teenager.

@just4him He wants to be with us as much as possible. Quarantine has caused him to be very dependent.

I would have been laughing too hard to get a bite without spitting it out.
