Difficult sending a video file through whatsapp

Today I tried to send a video file through Whatsapp to another person, but it says that it is a large file to send it. The file size is 288 MB. I tried many ways to send it but unable to send it. Hence, feeling disturbed today. Is there any chances available for it.

Whatsapp has its own limitations. Specially for file size.

You can upload the video to You Tube and then send the link to another person.
