I came across a poll the other day that covered TV theme songs from the 50s to 2009. They had ones with words, like "The Jeffersons", to just musical theme music like " The X-Files". Each poll covered a decade of theme songs, and I had heard of most of them, with few exceptions. I don't remember the theme song to "Wonder Woman", but I do remember Lynda Carter.
What are some of your favorites? I liked the theme sons from " Alice", "The Golden Girls ", The Big Bang Theory", and " The Nanny". I do like the whistling bit of "The Andy Griffith Show" too, plus "Gilmore Girls".

Funny you mention the Andy Griffith theme. My cockatiel learned to whistle that before I realized he was a male and a whistler, lol. What a surprise!
Lately I've had the theme from the old show "One Day at a Time" in my head. And I don't know why because I haven't been watching it. But it's catchy.

Oh, hmm.. I like The Golden Girls and The Nanny theme songs too. I guess I'd have to pitch Family Matters and Friends as well as Three's Company in there too. Oh, and I like Are You Being Served opening too.

@AmbiePam It's a lot of sounds of cash registers, and if I remember, some words. It's been years since I've heard it but I remember liking it. I've had The Family Matters one stuck in my head the past few days.

I always loved the theme music to the Sanford and Son. It was a typical quirky 70s TV music. I also loved the theme song to Gilligan's Island.

I liked the Rockford Files theme:
My Mom loved to watch that show, she thought that James Garner was so handsome!

@AmbiePam I have a handful of favourites but to pick some: Family Guy, The Nanny, Perfect Strangers, The Simpsons, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Twilight Zone, The King of Queens...I could go on actually lol A lot of very catchy themes out there for sure!
