Two siblings were reported a few days ago, being struck by lightning. They died instantly.
There were in the field walking when heavy rain fell. So, they found a refuge under the small nipa hut built in the middle of the field where they got stricken by the lightning.
I don't mind thunder but lightning, am so afraid of it.
What about you?

Yes, lightning scares me and so with our dogs too. When there is lighting we should be indoors.

@fluffy69 staying indoors is the safest against lightning.

Oh I am sooooo afraid of lighting. I hate it when I am outside and it rains so hard with lightning all over. It makes me disoriented. I would run to the nearest shelter. They say that lightning struck on the tallest object in the area. So in the case of the two siblings, the nipa hut might have been the tallest object.

Both thunder and lightning can be frightening. When you see lightning, you know thunder will follow. Just make sure you're in a safe place, avoid using a landline, taps and sinks with metal pipes, and wait for the storm to leave...

it is understandable that they sought shelter in the nipa hut, but as mentioned by shaui, lightning strikes the tallest object, which unfortunately is the hut in the middle of the rice field.

i fear nothing, the only thing i feared is the Will of the God,So i followed the order of the god and kept the word to him,i will never fight against and betray the God.Because he's mighty, and he's the saviour of this world and our lives.
I believe the fear and faith to God will take me to heaven, and God will see what i did.
Just like i say,The fear of the god is the basic of the morality and the first step to recognize the original sin

I am not afraid. I remember we were taught about safety measures taken for buildings to prevent damage from lightning.
