Still the rainy season

It has been the rainy season in my part of Japan since the second week of June. Supposedly, on average, it is over by July 21, which was yesterday. The weather forecast currently has rain and clouds at least up unitl July 29.
I was hoping to pull some weeds and organized the yard a bit, but that's not going to happen.
Actually, though, I can't complain too much because it is not nearly as hot during the rainy season as it is when full summer comes.
But I can complain because it has not been clear so I could see the comet Neowise. That is my main complaint now!
How is your weather today? Ours is... rainy.

For some reason, the sun is shining now at 2:00 pm even though the weather report said it would rain.

The weather in Lake Charles is partly cloudy with some rain in the area since there is a tropical depression is in the Gulf Of Mexico at this time headed for the Texas coast this week.

You describe almost the same thing that happens to me but in Venezuela: Rains, inability to remove weeds, fix the house and those of us who have a huge backyard know what that entails.
I guess we will soon look like Peppa Pig jumping in the mud puddles, LOL.

It is rainy season and still my area hasn't received the adequate amount of rain
