My funky little four leaf clover

I saw a pattern tutorial for a four leaf clover a few days ago and attempted to make it. The pattern called for a magic ring aka a cinch circle. I need to practice with that a bit more as I could not manage to hold my work and work into the cinch circle. I mean, I did but it was far too wonky.
Anyway, I came across another pattern last night and I said I was going to try that today. I actually didn't follow the pattern.
Not exactly anyway. The pattern called for chaining three and slip stitching into it. I didn't do that. Instead I chained about six and slip stitched in. The pattern called for a series of stitches, all of which I know how to do. However, I was working with a different type of yarn than the tutorial called for, so I halved the pattern.
I still love how it came out and I plan to make more of these and then make a little bunting out of it.
This is my first non - blanket thing other than a washcloth. Well, my first in recent times. I have crocheted a hat (terribly) before.
Here's the pattern that I didn't follow for anyone wondering.

I really hope so! I think I find something new every day that I want to create. Have you heard of Sophia's Universe? It's a pattern that uses a lot of mandala's. I heard of it a few years ago and have seen some of it recently. I would absolutely love to make a blanket like that!

@LindaOHio They really are. It's a beautiful pattern.
I feel like there are several different variations of this pattern.

@ScribbledAdNauseum No, I've never heard of it. Mandalas are quite detailed.

@simone10 Hmm. Well, I'd suggest putting it in a ziploc bag and puncturing a hole only big enough for the yarn to go through, but that won't stop the hair transfer onto the work as it's completed. I think if the item is just for you or your brother, then I wouldn't worry about it. I wouldn't make wash cloths or dish cloths of course.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Reading all of your posts about crocheting really makes me want to try again but because of Daisy's hair I don't know what to do. I don't think it would make a difference if it was washed afterwards because hair can get inside the fibers.

Thanks. I really like four leaf clovers. I have some pressed in a glass that came from Ireland.

@Brideen40 Best way to learn. I tried learning through those "I taught myself crochet" kits before and they are awful.

Atleast when it comes to crocheting, I do. I'm still learning, so I am happy when I achieve even something like this.

@Syukriyanto It's calming, crocheting is. We need calm now with what is going on in the world.

I'm working on mine. My mom used to crochet all the time until she just couldn't anymore.

It's a nice variegated cotton yarn. I bought it to make washcloths, and I have, but I have plenty of this yarn and wanted to make something else.
I like colors that pop.

Thank You. These colors are so versatile. I call them the Jamaican colors, and I think it looks really pretty as a four leaf clover.

@CarolDM Right. I could turn this into a pin if I wanted to and wear it as a splash of color against some of my darker colored shirts.
