Grate the coconut

Still... about the coconut. But now it is for cooks. Many tropical foods made with coconut milk. Such as, curry. Here, most of people still in rural area not using machine to get the coconut milk. They only use a piece of wood which there are a nails to grate the coconut. After grate it, pour the water on it, then squeeze it on the filter. Get the coconut milk without the coconut pulp. How you get a coconut milk? Or you usual buy the instanst product in supermarket?
