How about a challenging puzzle with 1,000 pieces?

I wish I could do this to kill the time. If I am done doing it, I can frame it and hang it on the wall. For the practical side, I will just be here and there to earn extra pennies. At the same time, I am socializing virtually. Have you indulged yourself with this concern? Image Credit: baejjh.files.wordpress.com

I enjoy puzzles. I've put a few 1,000 piece ones together. A nice way to relax and no time limit in finishing them.

I had tried this once, but with the help of my aunt. Now, she has it and hangs it on her wall in the living room.

I very much agree, it is a wonderful way to relax. Do you have a room with a spacious table where you can be busy for hours or do you have one of the puzzle cases that can contain large puzzles and easily packed away without loosing progress?

@Downwindz No, I have a large table in my living room which I can use to work on the puzzle. It is just wide enough to fit it. It's one of my winter pastimes, when it's really to cold to go outside. I enjoy the focus required to put them together and of course the finished product

My first tough is how long i will take to solve this 1000 piece. My second, i want to try this once. Maybe i will love this. My third, maybe i just try this when there no sisters and brother to distrub my progress. In the end, It's still long time till i can take this challenge.

I've actually done a few 1000pcs puzzles lately, one can say I discovered my patience during these horific times of COVID-19. My mother in-law seem to have a nice collection of puzzles on her attack, so I do borrow one from time to time. I've attached a picture of one of the puzzles I've made this year.
