In the summer of 2019 we bought a train pass that included trains in Europe. We began with taking a Euro Star train from London to Amsterdam. From there we visited a charming historic village in Germany. It was challenging with my son's wheelchair there. We had to reach Vienna to go on a sleeper train. It took us all way though Romania to Bucharest. There we took another sleeper train all the way to Istanbul. Crossing Turkey to Ankara and onto a town in Eastern Turkey was amazing. We had to take a bus to the Turkish coastline. It was lovely to take another bus to the Georgian border. We crossed into Georgia and also managed to have a few days in Armenia. On our return journey we went to a village in the Czech Republic. This trip we ended in Paris. See we visited lots of places for a low price.

@sophie09 Sumatra is what it is called. It can be reached by bus and ferry from Singapore. While there I went over the Equator and swam in Lake Toba. From Medan I went to a village where I went up to a area to see orangutans.

I hope that you will visit Paris. We went on a walk along the river all the way to the Eiffel Tower. We stayed all afternoon to the evening. It looked stunning in the dark.

Usually I will try buy the budget flight since it can save a lot. But these trips are usually within three hours flight and that's totally fine with us.
