I thought I would share a song from youtube called Memphis, Tennessee. It's by Johnny Rivers who was my Mom's favorite singer. I just heard this song on the radio and I always think of my Mom. It gives me a good feeling and good memories. In her younger days, I remember my Mom dancing to any of Johnny River's songs that came on the radio.

Oh, yes! I totally agree with you. The Rendezvous has the best ribs, but Corky's does too.

This is a pretty good song. I don't know much about Johnny Rivers' music, but the couple of his songs that I've heard I've enjoyed.

Welcome back, Jeff, to the poor side of town.

He’s primarily a cover act, but as I previously commented, I prefer his version of “Memphis” to anyone else’s (including Chuck Berry’s or Elvis’).

That’s so sweet. I remember my mom dancing with my father to Sinatra in our living room with my father singing along. Such nice memories.

Thank you! My Mom had a lot of health issues for about 20 years but I do remember her dancing to any of Johnny River's songs whenever she could.

When had that 45 (Imperial Records) when I was a kid. Chuck Berry wrote the song, but my favorite version has always been Johnny Rivers’ rendition.
