That's not what I'm looking for

Do you ever try doing a Google search for something, and something really odd that you were not searching shows up? Happens to me quite frequently, because I tend to look for things that have other words. For example, as a music teacher, I have been looking for recorder music and apps that simulate the recorder. By recorder, you know I mean the instrument that kids play in elementary school. Unfortunately, "music recorder" gets me 90% machines to record music and 10% the instrument. I just did a search in Japanese for a geologic feature that I'm interested in researching, the Kyushu-Palau Ridge. It's a formation of seamounts that crosses the Philippines plate, and indicates the presence of an ancient ridge (a ridge being a place where tectonic plates are being pushed apart and where magma comes up). So, I found a couple of things in English, and decided to look in Japanese. it turns out that when you type in "Palau" in Japanese spelling it is the same as "pilaf", so I got an entire page of pictures of recipes made in Kyushu. Oh well! Do you have any amusing search stories?

Have you tried searching something in quotations? Quotations mean that your search is exclusive for that thing only. However, anything related to what you're looking in the Internet is displayed. It's up for you to select available to your subject.
