Today is the day for the country's president to address his State of the Nation (SONA). Without a doubt, protesters protested their sentiments in different provinces here. In my own perspective, it is a good way to voice out what really happening in the country. However, I had seen some didn't practice social distancing. Do you think it is a good idea? Well here in Metro Manila, we have the same but much tamed crowd as the police did not allow them to do their protest in the streets. Although they made their rallies inside the UP state university instead and do their thing there. Lucky for this admin to have used the pandemic as an excuse to stop any protest against the government.

@Shavkat Well I think they are essential for a democratic society to exist. Government who abhors activism is a sign that they are doing something fishy.

I am glad that it did happen. It seems that some people are really born to be activists. I am not saying that they cannot voice out their sentiments, but it should in a perfect place and timing.

I agree. My concern is if they do this, then it might increase the incidence of confirmed cases of COVID-19.

I didn't watch it in a full show of the president on TV. I have some friends who claimed to be rubbish.

I will just lay some issues, such as governance, corruption, education, pandemic, etc. It is a long story.

Good luck to them. The face masks are useless when social distancing is not done.

It is a sad thing, right? Some policemen claimed that they ignored them because they are following social distancing. The photo shows it wasn't the case.
