Lemon tea

I like to have a cup of milk tea with my breakfast. It usually includes some spices, like cinnamon and ginger. But when I am at home, sometimes I have another cup of tea in the middle of the morning, when I would normally be teaching.
Today, for the first time in many years, I made lemon tea. I sometimes buy bottled lemon tea, which is tasty, but I hadn't made my own. I had forgotten that when you add the lemon it becomes lighter! Interesting. I wonder why?
Also, I put sugar in the tea. Fine. I got out the bottle of lemon juice and... squirted the first batch on my kitchen counter. Oops. I squeezed a little more gently and the second time I hit the teacup. Oh well, at least lemon juice is supposed to be good for cleaning! (It actually was. When I wiped off the counter, a tea stain came off.)
Do you prefer lemon tea, milk tea, plain black tea, green tea, oolong tea, other somewhat "exotic" teas, or no tea?

I like green tea due to the health benefits.

Mostly I have weak black if I have tea at all. If I'm not well and don't fancy coffee, I have milk tea with sugar. I had delicious lemon, honey and ginger tea in Nepal and made that at home for a while.

I like lemon tea but usually, I drink just plain Earl Gray tea with no sugar.

Earl Gray is the one kind of tea I'm not fond of. Ok, not quite true. I really don't like jasmine tea either. Lady Gray tea is ok.

Milk tea is delicious. I like green tea too. It's supposed to be good for health.

What's the difference between a lemon tea and a lemonade?
