Remember Myspace from long ago? It was around 2005 when the web exploded with the most popular website. A friend of mine talked me into trying it out and I was hooked. I loved being able to "blog" about my day and change my profile page background often depending on my mood. Some days would sport a vampire when others would have something aw worthy like a baby kitty. What I didn't like was the choosing your friends in order. Like the first person was your number one bestie. Myspace sported a top eight friends. It caused some hurt feelings along the way. If Myspace would have removed some of the features complained about, I think they would have survived beyond the music site it is now. Maybe they wouldn't have been as large as Facebook but maybe neck-to-neck with Twitter. Did you have a Myspace? If so, why did you leave?

It was very popular. I was a part before Facebook. I liked it and seemed more private too.

@noni1959 I never joined MySpace, I still have an account on Facebook that is strictly private and that I only use to stay in touch with some cousins who live in Italy.

I had a Myspace account. Still do, although I haven't logged in for over 10 years. I quickly jumped on the Facebook bandwagon when it was the up and coming site. Funny thing is, I hate Facebook now. By the way, Myspace is still around, I want to say it got bought out by Yahoo, or somebody like that. It kind of reinvented itself as a social media site for local bands and musicians.

It would be awesome if it made it’s way back as a social media. I hate FB too. I keep it for a minimal amount of people to share but some day will delete.

@noni1959 I mostly use Instagram and Twitter these days. I'm hardly ever on Facebook, and every now and then I'll use Snapchat. I refuse to get a TikTok account.

@BelleStarr I wrote a travel blog long ago. I gave it up when the competition got too much and I didn't have enough time outside of work to keep up.

My younger son used it. I guess Facebook became the next hot thing, but he's not on any social media anymore. I never used it.

A social media site. Facebook came roaring in and people started going there. Myspace is still around but as a musician site now.
