Sometimes You Just Have to Go With Gaudy

. Gaudy-extravagantly bright or showy, typically so as to be tasteless. My husband and I dug up all the plants from the 5 gardens we have in our front yard. The former owner of this house made the front yard look like a jungle due to his planting a mass of perennials of every shape and size. We only planted yellow rose bushes in our now nothing-in-them gardens. I noticed that the wreath-like accent I always place on our front door in spring was filled with pink and white blooms; no yellow!!. That just would not do because all the roses in front are yellow. I took my handy glue gun and secured some fake yellow blooms to that wreath-like accent piece, some little, sparkly green gems, and some rather ugly green leaves. too. It is a gaudy-looking door accent but sometimes all you can do is go with gaudy. Next spring, I will buy a less-gaudy wreath for the front door that has lots of yellow blooms on it.

@Corbin5 my mom here roses too and I had them when I moved away from home. I don't remember any instruction on hope to prime then but I'm not really into roses. I'm probably the only woman in Earth that prefers a different bouquet of flowers too.
