The August Start Talk: Monsoon Pick up and more

Well, as the steps of August adorn our lives, I can see that Monsoons have picked up in Northern India. We did had a few spells of heavy rains. Today afternoon too saw cloudy sky which lasted till late evening, though no rain.
May be we would see some rains tomorrow.
Some other observations/thoughts:
1)Covid 19 has been controlled in the capital city of India- New Delhi and some adjoining areas. Yet in states like Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, the problem has got more severe. So it could be a tough time for perhaps one more year.
2)Some folks who used to talk with wit and humor have either ceased doing so, or they have got tired of some of my not so intellectual and "humorified" comments (I kind of a... inventeddd that word.....).
3)Vanny has stopped teasing Horse; may be as a part of a temporary ceasefire.
Yet this "news" is not verified.. just a guess.
And well, who is Vanny and who is Horse?
Just find yourself...

The cases are less because now people know they can cure themselves in their houses only..

Yet they rose a lot in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka a lot recently.
And even in Kerala. It has been controlled in some states.

The capital city has situation under control now, but we still need to be vigilant.

I can explain why vanny has stopped teasing pony on myLot. Something happened to her internet. (Read that to say her dad was trying to make it work better... 
) So she can't get to myLot right now. I still am in contact with vanny through Whatsapp. Apparently her internet still works well enough to visit with me that way once in a while.
Covid 19 seems to be depressing people the longer the pandemic lasts. Here in the US we are having a second major wave of Covid illnesses, mostly because younger adults (18 to 25 or so) go out to bars but don't think wearing masks will help them pick up drunk girls so they leave the masks at home. Of course they catch the virus and take it home to their families.
Many people don't care that they might be spreading the virus because they are young and healthy so the virus won't affect them very much. It isn't until their parents or grandparents catch the virus from them and die that the young people realize their mistake. But that doesn't help all the people who catch the virus from them. *sigh*

@DaddyEvil Wherever there would be crowd, virus risks increase. So well, it would not be prudent for people to create crowding in the first place.

Not came across Vanny much here in recent times. I do enjoy those teasing interactions between Vanny and Horse.

I read that Bangalore and Karnataka overall are facing very tough Covid times?
