Have You Made Pancakes in a Waffle Machine?

I was walking to the city this afternoon as I need some ingredients for my cake decoration for the coming weekend. The sun was shining but not so warm. I was able to buy a ready-made fondant for a birthday cake.
There were a lot of sales in the shops which were up to 70% reduction in prices. I only bought 2 swimming trunk for my niece small boys whom I will see this weekend.
My husband collected me in the same place as usual so I didn´t have to walk back home as I was tired of walking. I didn´t know what to cook so I thought I should make what we have not eaten for a long time. I made banana pancakes. I made them in a waffle making machine for a change. The pancakes were delicious. I still have leftovers for tomorrow's breakfast.
When was the last time you have eaten pancakes?

I have not had pancakes or waffles in quite a long time! Maybe I will make some this weekend coming up!

It has been a long time, but I think the last ones I had were actually banana pancakes. A friend of mine makes Chaffles now (cheese and egg waffles) and I want to try that.

cute pic..question,What makes them pancakes and not waffles? Did you use a pancake recipe?

Actually, you can call them waffles, too @snowy22315. I made my own pancake recipe but then, the idea of cleaning the frying pan was what I didn´t like that was why I used my waffle machine. With the waffle machine, I only had to clean the machine with the kitchen paper. Thanks.

I use the same batter to make waffles and pancakes. If I make pancakes in the waffle machine, won't they be waffles?

I think they are called waffles @1creekgirl. The idea I had was to make pancakes but I didn´t like the idea of cleaning the frying pan afterwards and so the waffle machine was very handy for me to use. I have not used it for years until yesterday.

Its looks delicious and in the first look, I thought its a waffle but read in the discussion as its pancake as still not remember when last eat it but before a very long time. Now we cant miss foods here haha.

We never cook pancakes . If we want to eat we just buy them in the ambulant at the public plaza.
