Day 363 Promise 442 Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it. You’re directed in life to find the right path for your journey. Teachers ask what you want to be when you grow up. Now that you’re grown, have you found the correct path for your journey or are you still looking? Jesus told the people they needed to find the path not for their career, but for their eternal destination. As Christians, you found the path leading to life. You can see the destructive ways of the world and stay away from the right path. However, there are many stumbling stones, temptations, leading from the path. You need to see those stumbling stones for what they are, and stay on the narrow path leading to salvation and eternal life. Jesus said the road leading to destruction, Hell, is wide and many follow the wide path because it’s more enticing than the narrow path. Consider what the world offers and what Jesus offers, and keep on the narrow path leading to eternal life. Remember you don’t walk the path alone. Jesus walks it with you. So does the Holy Spirit, your guide through this life. Let’s pray: Father, help me stay on the narrow path leading to life and see the stumbling stones for what they are, enticements to destruction.
