Back in 1991 I had the joy of visiting St Lucia in the Caribbean with my mother. We had a wonderful time and it was my first time to visit a tropical island. In 1993 I set off on a trip around the world and I was able to visit Hawaii. I had some time on the north shore where there were huge powerful waves pounding at the shoreline. It was a dream come true to visit an island which was like paradise in Fiji. While in Australia I visited some of its Great Barrier Reef Islands. In 2001 I had the delight of seeing Tahiti and the Cook Islands. On my way home in 2002 I was able to visit Samoa and I fell in love with its landscapes plus buildings. Which island would you like to visit?

I have been in Aruba many times and twice in Saint Maarten. Some years ago, my best friends invited me in their sailboat to Kunayala (the San Blas Islands) I love the Caribbean.

Aruba is superhot when i visited there..but the view and buildings are colorful

That sounds great. I'm glad you enjoyed your visits to those islands.
I have been to Guam and enjoyed living there for the short time I was there. I would love to visit Hawaii or the UK, Ireland, and Iceland. I've heard the islands that are part of Alaska are also very nice.

I think the island of Guam belongs to America. It is lovely that you lived there for some time. Hawaii is quite expensive though it is worth it. Iceland is really expensive so we camped there in a tent. I haven't yet been to Alaska. In the summer its islands would be lovely to explore.

@JudyEv Thanks for mentioning their names. Yes, exactly they are called quokkas and they are cute plus friendly. I went to see the School of the Air which is fascinating. I went overland from Perth to Esperance and then up to Coral Bay. Western Australia is really beautiful.

I hope you take time to visit my country too. In fact, my country is a group of islands. If you love islands, then visit Philippines. I'm sure you'll love the islands here too especially Coron, Palawan
