Day 2 Promise 447 Matthew 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. (KJV) Confession is good for the soul. As children you needed to tell the truth when you did something wrong. If you didn’t, you faced the consequences. Jesus told His disciples their confession of faith would not go unnoticed. He would confess everyone who confessed they knew Him to His Father. He would also deny all knowledge of people who didn’t confess they knew Him. As Christians, you know your confession of faith brings multiplied blessings. Not only will Jesus confess you before God, but He will also do everything He promised. He will defend, protect, and provide everything you need. David knew God’s faithfulness because he continually confessed his faith in God. Psalm 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them who walk uprightly. 12 O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in thee. Those who reject Jesus as Savior and Lord won’t see any blessings from God. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: 15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; 16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. 17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears. (KJV) Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (KJV) What is your confession? Do your freely confess Jesus as Savior and Lord, or do you deny Him? Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed. Let’s pray: Father, You know my heart and my life. Help me to live my life for You, confessing You daily to everyone I see. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. I've never understood how someone can be a Christian and deny Jesus.

It is hard to fathom. I knew a person once who was an elder in the church I attended. He was converted to Christianity from Islam. He was strong in his faith and then one day, he changed and embraced Islam again. It was so sad. It tore his family apart.

So sad for there are people who don't believe in God. So what's their fate?
