When do you say, this is it, I had enough

I'm thankful that myLot is here. It's difficult to pretend everything is ok when in fact it's not. My daughter has nothing to do with me anymore. My husband (not my daughter's biological father) is a religious hypocrite. I feel so alone in this house. I feel I am a failure as a mother to an only child. I'm sorry if this post is not acceptable in this site, I can take it down, I understand. This is a negative post and nobody would like to have a gloomy start of the week and for that I want to say sorry that I am a burden to anybody who might read this.

Okay, there's no reason to feel like you're a burden to anybody here. We all have problems. Some are worse than others. For too many years I thought I was a failure as a mother and wife. I no longer feel that way. My children help me see I wasn't a failure. My late ex-husband, well he was the failure, not me. I'm not going to tell you to pretend you don't have problems, but I will say, they aren't as bad as you might think they are. Sometimes failures turn into our biggest successes. I've had my share of pity parties. They're no fun. So, turn your frown upside down, get a snack of your favorite comfort food, watch a favorite program, and find the good in what's happening right now. Tomorrow, things will look a lot better.

Thank you Valerie for heartwarming message. I deal with each day as it comes now, specially with all these things happening, I have been telling myself, I will do whatever will make things better between my daughter and I, if she doesn't feel or see whatever I am doing for her, that's still alright with me. I tell myself, you tried your best and just simply don't give up on her now.

My son is currently living in Brazil and I have no idea if and when he will be back. We talk often, but it's not the same...and I always have to be the one to contact him!! It sucks bigtime..and I wish that was the only thing bugging me! I can relate to your post to a degree, and I am sorry you are going through this. Are you in counseling?

An update, constant prayer that all will be well in our hearts and our house has been helping *no jinx* I always visualize and claim that all will always be well between my one and daughter and me as well as my husband, for our remaining years. Husband is 60 this year and I turned 52 just this month. There is a 36 year gap between my daughter and I which is why I just claim for good days, moths and remaining years ahead.

I really think that you have to refuge in God, he will show you how to get out of this dark room where you are at right now! Say a pray, tell him to light up your life and the rest is taking action!
