Rain Two Days In A Row

Maybe just a light rain, but two days in a row is a good thing. Yesterday we had a light shower. Now the thunder is bringing more rain.
The rain is needed as the temperatures soar. And the grass is trying to turn brown. If we get rain now and for a few more days, it might save the grass.
I will give the birds fresh water and the garden if needed. First I will see how much rain this shower brings.
The hummingbirds are gathered around the feeder. They love the rain.

You storm clouds look so much different than ours. Our entire sky turns black, where it looks like one giant storm cloud. But then again, our summer thunderstorms are probably much stronger than the ones you get.

@CarolDM It's very rare for us to have a quick passing shower in the summer here in the part of Florida where I live. Usually we just watch the thunderstorms slowly build up all day long until the skies let loose in the afternoons. In the past, before global warming messed up all our normal weather patterns, you could set your watch to the afternoon storms. Now, it seems to be hit or miss with whether or not we get them every day.

I really like the picture of the sky, I always liked to stand out on our back deck when we lived out in the country and watch a good storm roll in. It was always a test to see how long I could stand there, as the winds blew harder and harder and the sky got darker and darker and then make a mad dash into the house just before those first drops of rain began to fall.
