My son's school will start on August 24. He is an incoming Grade 9. The school prepared parents' orientation since last week via online. Although I was the one expected to attend virtual, I asked my son to sit with me so he could also learn something from the orientation.
It was a 2-hour long orientation but I never got bored because the lecture was brief and clear and it only took longer because some parents posted their inquiries.
The School administration only focused on the school rules and the implementation of the online teaching and learning when the classes open.
Have you attended parents' orientation online?

@cherigucchi Good for them and I hope that they can catch up on their lesson and enjoy studying at home.

That is correct. We never stop schooling as parents for guiding our kids.

We had PTA last week. It is parents and teacher association where we meet online to chat for 5 minutes. Each teacher had to meet each parents, there are 50 of them in a class. Luckily it is not 2 hours otherwise it will end in months
