When I browsed at the discussions I wrote lately, I found the first photo I added for this challenge was written on almost a year ago. Now here's the 3rd photo. I just crocheted a tiny whale (in peach color) last night. It's for my youngest son who is 4 years old now. I made two tiny whales for my another two children before my little boy was born. When I saw the other two tiny whales, I thought perhaps it's good to make a tiny whale for my little boy too. Here it is. They put the tiny whales in the "little pond". How have you been lately? Best wishes to you!

@LadyDuck Yes, it can be really addictive to watch those videos and tutorials online. I agree that there are really lots to learn, not only crafting, but many others as well.

@Adie04 We can always learn, especially there are now many tutorials online, even in YouTube. I used to think I can't make anything with my hand as I was not a crafty person until I became a mom and learned to make all these stuff for my kids. Though I still don't think I am good at handwork, at least I can make some toys, I am happy enough.

Thanks! I was sort of "being forced" to learn as I wanted to teach my kids.... Slowly, I got addicted to it. My kids are always my inspirations.

Thanks! I like to make these little toys for my kids. Sometimes it can be quite addictive in making things. I gotta always remind myself to focus on what I should - homeschooling, instead of crafting.

Yes, we can. In fact, I wanted to learn crochet because I wanted to make some toys for my kids. I first started with knitting, but when I learned how to knit, I found more crocheted toys online, hence I slowly learned crocheting as well. As I am staying in tropical country, I don't really knit or crochet scarf, sock, hat or blanket, but mostly toys for my kids.

@amitkokiladitya Yes, especially from YouTube videos. They are especially good for beginners when I wanted to learn how to crochet or knit a type of stitch. Some even teach how to make a product step by step.

These are all toys for my kids. I used to usually make two sets of toys, and now have to make three sets. I always want to make some masks too, but I haven't start doing so as we haven't really go outside yet. Hope to see the masks you have made later, and quilts too.
