Black Knight Butterfly Bush Bloom

Two years ago I added this second butterfly bush to Dustin's garden. I have a white one that does great and continues to grow more each year. So many have talked about the Black Knight Butterfly bush. So I got one and planted it. The blooms are not actually black, but in the right light they can look a very dark purple or burgundy. Was out snapping butterfly pics yesterday and one flew away so I was left with only the bloom. You have to be quick with the camera. I am pleased with this bush. The butterflies and hummingbirds both enjoy the blooms and the smell is so sweet.

Beautiful color, wow! I don't have this one, but it reminds me of a similar flower that my parents have in their garden. The butterflies seem to enjoy it a lot

The bush I have hasn't bloomed much. I have had blossoms on it a few times..but not a lot of them like that. It looks healthy though..so maybe sometime in the future it will.
