I watched a fireman undress today

Note that I did not say get naked He had clothes on (yes, I know, I'm disappointed too). It was definitely an odd thing to see in the middle of suburbia. Especially since my cousins - in laws only called because one of them had fallen.. Apparently the firemen left the station gung ho and ready to fight a blaze.

I felt lucky. I'm curious why he didn't wait until he got to the station as he left right after. I called my aunt who got in touch with my cousin and he said that his grandmother had fallen.

@CarolDM It wasn't serious enough for them to take her to the hospital, so I think she is fine. Her son and husband live with her, and I think one of them must have called just in case.

When my relative said "He's taking off his clothes! He's down to his boxers!" I jumped up and looked. It wasn't boxers, but basketball shorts.

It must have been a real good highlight of the day for other girls around there too. However glad the other lady that fell is safe.

I was going to say that I was one of the youngest people who lived on the court, but my neighbors have their grandchildren living next door and they are a few years younger then me. It was the middle of the day though, and I don't think most people were home. I'm glad she was was okay too.

I don't know what possessed him to do that. A relative suggested that the fireman trousers might be hard to drive in, but I didn't see him changing into them when he got here, so I don't know.

I don't believe I've met anyone who has said they didn't like the firemen's gear.

It was. I wasn't even looking out the window at the time. I knew the fire truck was out there, but I wasn't pay any attention. Then a relative says "He's down to his boxers!" I look and it was shorts, not boxers..

We call my aunt everytime the paramedics or fire engine comes, and she calls us back to tell us what is going on. The grandmother fell, but not bad enough to require a trip to the ER.

Well, that's sort of anti-climactic isn't it? Of course, that being said, I'd be more interested in it if they were female firefighters. lol
