Chirping morning visitor......

A very warm morning from this side of planet
. It's a warm morning here
since we get to see sunshine after a long wait of few weeks. The clouds and rain for weeks together made us feel gloomy and we badly needed a warm day. I have washed two of my bedsheets that were waiting in the laundry basket for last two weeks.
Done with morning chores, did my exercise and now I am ready to work. Had a delicious breakfast of idli ( steamed rice cakes) and sambhar( spicy lentil soup with loads of veggies.
My classes start in 10 minutes and I just came here to post this. I did not want to miss posting about this pleasant morning surprise. . It was not only the bright sun that brightened my mood today. When I opened my door to pick up morning newspaper, I saw these visitors on my door mat. They were chirping happily. . And they were not intimidated by my presence. In fact they waited for a while till I got my phone to click their picture. I have posted the picture here.
These visitors were there for almost an hour and when I went to check for them after my shower, they had left.
It was a big excitement for my daughters who were extremely cautious to make sure that they are not scared. My younger one made my husband change his exercise plan. She did not allow him to go out for his walk as it might scare them. So he did some indoor exercise today.
Bye for now. I can hear my students joining the class in other window.

We stay on top third floor of an apartment. We get birds, bees and butterflies in our terrace garden. But this is first time that they came to doorsteps. The lobby and staircase do not have an open sky . I wonder how they found their way here.

I had a long day at work. One of the teacher was not well and I had to take her class too. So I hardly had any morning break. But now the day at work is done and I am glad that it went smooth.

We were so glad to receive them. Generally I would get birds and bees visiting my terrace garden. But this was first time I found them at my door mat. We stay on third floor and the lobby and staircase has a very narrow opening to open sky. I wonder how they found their way there.

Good afternoon!. My day was really hectic as one of the teacher was not well and I had to take an extra class. I got no morning break today. Now I am done for the day at work and ti was really good. How about you??

Beautiful birds visiting your house. Don't know what kind of birds they are. They look like crested pigeons ( having horn like feathers on the head ). Did you feed them grains.

I keep some grains and water on terrace for birds. This is first time they came at door steps. Coming on third floor of an apartment...our lobby and staircase do not open to sky. So just wondering how they landed there.
My friend said it is Bulbul...though I am not sure of it.
