Asking for a friend

I have a Facebook account but rarely use it. Vince keeps me up to date with anything he thinks I need, or might like, to know about. There is a lot of funny memes and video clips on the sites he is a member of. They often make me laugh. There have been a great number of funny posts since the pandemic has hit. I love the ones that say they are ‘asking for a friend’. Perhaps they might say, if you’re out of milk at breakfast, is it okay to drink wine? Then they add ‘asking for a friend’. It always cracks me up – the ‘asking for a friend’ comment. The photo is mine of a little girl at a soccer match. It always cracks me up too.

i used to do those (asking for a friend) it is a lot of fun. I did a few here on Mylot a bit ago.

Some jokes just never tire. For example, I was a BIG fan of Super Dave Osbourne. He was part of the Bizarre Show, and then went on to have his own show. He was basically a goofy stunt man, and of course the stunts always ended in disaster. The guy at the mic was always Mike Waldon. Being that the show was essentially Canadian, Mike would always joke that Super Dave's safety devices were made of "genuine Saskatchewan seal skin bindings." If you know where Saskatchewan Canada is, there are NO SEALS. The joke never got old and always made me laugh, and of course the audience would laugh as well.
