Throwback Time!

I was cleaning the dust of our photo albums yesterday and it took me a few hours to get finished. 
I was not only cleaning the outside of the albums but looking inside them. I was in nostalgic feeling seeing those old photos. Happy memories came into my mind.
Who do you think is the photo above? My Filipino friends in Germany was invited to join a world cultural show in their village. They lack of partners so they asked me to join. My friends danced the Tinikling (bamboo dance) while my son and I was holding the bamboos intact with the music. We also danced Pandango sa Ilaw, a candle dance in the Philippines.
I miss those times but my friends are in the Philippines and the other one out of reach.
. I miss dancing the Filipino folk dance, too. Well, we are all getting old but I think I am only the one who is still young at Heart and in mind.
Have a wonderful Saturday. I have to go to my friends birthday party this afternoon. I will just catch up every now and then. Ciao!

@DocAndersen I see. Thank you for the explanation. My friend is still in the Philippines. She was supposed to come back to Germany last May but because of Covid, the flight was canceled. Anyway, she can still come when it is okay to fly already.

That's right @rhuenz. I think the Filipino folk dances are promoted often in other countries like Germany, in Filipino communities. This kind of dance are always shown in some tourist places in our country. Thank you and take care of yourself, too.

. I have seen also photos where my parents were with us in Germany. I miss them as they are all gone

Looking at old photos can bring back wonderful memories. And we look a lot younger in those photos which is not bad either
