Beware of "Sextortion" Scammers

There is a scam going around where people claim they have some compromising/humiliating material on you & that you have like 48 hours to pay up or they will distribute it to your contacts and such. The wording of the scam emails may vary slightly, but they all generally say the same thing. These scams are nothing new, one variant I already addressed here on Mylot was the "Save Yourself" scam. The latest one I heard of said "Final Notice" or some such, I'm mentioning it here so that you are not duped into stressing over it or paying the scammers if such an email appears either in your inbox or spam folder.
