Very Restless Night With the Cats

Life is a funny thing. I had to get up early to get a few errands taken care of today. Seems like the cats knew that. They had me up since 4:am. That is early for my schedule.
A rare moment for the Dude. I had to clean up a few messes he made. I will leave it at that.
Then Brendel decided she was ready to play, across my pillows and the foot of the bed.
Finally I could not go back to sleep. So I got up. Wasn't ready for coffee just yet.
So I had a big cold glass of grape juice. So good. And very healthy.
Then I had my coffee and watched the cloudy sunrise. A weird night. I hope tonight is better.

I hope so too...I woke up at 1:51 and couldn't get to sleep for several hours. I am not sure what time it was I finally slept..it was probably past 6. I came out here to try to sleep in the living room, but that didn't work either. Nico probably wondered what I was doing..but other than playing with his favorite toy early, he was pretty quiet.

I have always loved cats, but that's one thing that always bothered me about them, was them jumping up on my bed and climbing all over me or laying down on my head or whatever at very early times of the morning. I thought shutting my bedroom door would be the easy solution, but no, the cats would just claw at the door until I would finally get up and open it. It was a pointless effort to try and stop the will of the cats! lol

@CarolDM They won't let me comment on Jeff's comment. I once had a cat that would pounce on my head when I was asleep at 4 am. It was a big emergency, the food dish was empty. She had a meal the night before and I always fed her when I got up.

I see the picture of the grape juice in the picture to your post. We have grape juice here but not the same. I love it. I know about cleaning up messes too. I have had times where I got up early and could not go back to sleep either. I hope you had a good day.
