Quick Run To the Store Didn't Happen

Earlier today I told you that I was going to run to the store. I needed some milk and hubby wanted some cherries to make a pineapple upsidedown cake.
I decided to actually put on makeup to go to the store today. That didn't take long and I headed out the door. I got in my car and turned the key. Notta! Nothing, not even trying to turn over.
I got out and went and told hubby he had a new job to do. Car was DEAD. He groaned because no jumper cables here. Now we used to have several sets of jumper cables. No clue what happened to them.
We replaced the battery before we went to Branson in December so the battery should not have been a case for new battery.
Anyway, the went to the auto parts store in town and picked up a new set. He also ran the errands. He had added the drug store to my list. So I put on makeup for nothing today and I got out of running errands.
Oh yeah, the trouble was battery drained because someone left an interior light on. I don't think I am guilty of that.

These days the mask covers most of the face so there is hardly any need of makeup

@kareng sometimes we need to apply makeup only to make ourselves feel good

Sorry! Your effort to put make up went waste. Now a days with masks on, make up hardly make sense... Maybe eye make up can be only seen. I hate when such car problems occur.

@kareng Not only make up I sometimes fail to gaze the feelings and emotions when one talks with mask on. And many a times eyes do not reflect much

Oh sorry to hear that..dang cars you see that is why I do not have one.
Well not a waste putting on make up you can look pretty today anyway.

Ive experienced trouble on my motorcycle also,the sad part is im alone because my husband is at work,so i have to ask someone in the street to carry the motorcycle on the nearest motor shop..i know the feeling ma friend

Glad it was just a drained battery and not something else that would have been a costly repair.
