I’m not even sure how this is going to work, but I’m sure they have precautionary measures, not even sure if it will be Hybrid or not, but whatever happens I hope it benefits Little Miss, these past few months have been hard on her, but I certainly hope too that they are going to do some kind of Hybrid education so not all the kids are shoved into a classroom the way they were before.
Honestly though, I think even a partial return to school maybe good for Little Miss, maybe we will get our smiley, bubbly young lady back, because it’s hard seeing her look forlorn.
I have mixed feelings on going back to class, but I hope it does benefit kids like Little Miss.

I have a teacher friend in the neighborhood here. In this county the children cannot sit closer than 6 feet apart, desks are all moved that distance. They have arrows lining the halls, you cannot stop to talk with anyone else. They all wear masks and shields each day. At lunch they sit 6 feet apart at tables, no more talking/laughing and eating together like before.
Sounds like a very different...somber school year from what my friend was telling me. Poor kids. =(

Yeah, I’m not sure how it’s going to work, but Little Miss really misses being in class. Her Mom isn’t in a position to homeschool...

@Michellekidwell I hope she still enjoys school, even if it is like the school here.

I'm the one who will be more than happy when the schools reopen but only when this virus goes away. I can't take risk for my son at all

The socializing should be good for Little Miss. More personal teaching is always better for the children too.

@LovingMyBabies They can still talk to each other even though they are separated. It's good for them to be around other kids at that age. Just safely! :-)
