Daily Blogging Challenge: Day 102

Hello there, everyone. It’s time for another Daily Blogging Challenge. Day 102: “What are you crossing your fingers for?” I’m going to be VERY honest here, I’m crossing my fingers that the world is safe enough for concerts to resume next year. I know some things are going to have to change (which I don’t have the time or energy to debate right now), but I’ll adapt and survive. My favorite band (New Kids On The Block, also known as NKOTB) usually tours every other year, which would’ve made next year their tour season. But with the current events, I have my doubts that it’s actually going to happen. They do summer tours due to their families and other jobs, so I don’t think moving it to fall 2021 is going to be an option. In MY opinion, if they can’t tour next summer, they’ll put it off until the summer of 2022. They did move their Fenway (Boston, MA) show to next summer, but that’s one hometown show, not an entire tour. I’m crossing my fingers that things improve enough so that I can still see them next year. However, I don’t expect them to tour until 2022. On the brighter side, I have a decent amount saved up for concert tickets, so if it’s pushed back a year, I’ll have even more time to save up. I’m going for floor seats next tour, no ands, ifs or buts about it. Anyways, like I said, I don’t really have the time or energy to debate current events right now, nor do I want to be lectured about how other things are more important, we need to be safe, etc., because I already know -and agree- with all of that. I have a high-risk Momma, of course I think about that stuff, hence the “I hope it’s safe enough” thing. I shouldn’t have to say any of that, but I’m nipping it in the bud. :) But, this is the answer to what I’m crossing my fingers for right now. I’m not holding my breath, but that’s okay, I’ve already felt upset over it and moved on. If they cannot tour next year, there is nothing I can do about it except wait. And no, I’m not going to their Boston show next year, it’s 8hrs away and I'd rather not spend the money I've been saving on cheap seats in a baseball park lol. I just have to remind myself that even though I don’t know when, I *WILL* see them again. Also, I'm sorry if I sound cranky, I'm just tired and trying to be straight forward.
