I Am In Code Blue...Not That Serious

Let me share how we go to the mall and market here in my city. It comprised three colors: yellow, green, and blue. We based our schedule given by the city's officials. My ID is in code blue. It is being implemented every month. Sometimes they changed it when there is an issue which is related to new cases of COVID-19. Do you also follow a schedule when going out from your abode? Here there is nothing like this and maybe the reason why cases are increasing here a lot.

Personally, it is a good thing that they did this. At least, it can control the locals not to keep on going out.

That's a a very well thought and planned way to control the spread. If people stick to that, it would be really helpful. Stay safe.

I noticed that the frontliners in every district are quite strict than before. Before you can enter the malls or markets, the locals need to present their color-coded IDs.

@arunima25 I hope that the local government will do something about it.

@Shavkat I wish our country could do something like that. Numbers are skyrocketing and people are not exercising precautionary and safety measures.

Nope they don’t have anything like that here but my children’s school is doing something similar. Group A goes Monday & Thursday. Group B goes Tuesday and Friday. Wednesday the school is closed for cleaning. They also have two different bus runs so less kids on the bus at a time.

@Shavkat I would prefer if the kids didn’t go back

That's nice the kids are going to school. We are not in the same situation. Basically, the students need to stay at home and waiting for the availability of the vaccines.

Then, you cannot go to these places. You need to wait for the following week. However, you can buy some things in nearby small markets or supermarkets here.

@id_peace I sometimes choose a small-scale supermarket to buy things. The reason is it is only a few people here.

that is nice! easy to follow. We have number coding here. I cannot go out every Saturday and Wednesday is the disinfection day of our markets

Every Sunday, the malls. Markets, shops, etc are all closed. They also disinfect the public market on this day. I am curious about the number coding. Is it a number for every barangay unit there?

We don't have a schedule. Here, it's "your health, your responsibility" sort of thing.

I also the same thing. I always try my best to go out once a week. If there are some things needed, I just go to a nearby small market (talipapa). The quarantine pass was removed because some locals can fake it.

i hate regulations like that. their lockdowns and protocols don't control covid at all. good thing i am close to everything so i can buy anytime still.

In my opinion, it will not happen this chaotic situation if they lock down the Philippines before the pandemic.

We've done on this. I was team green then. We use back the quarantine pass but the schedules when to go out are no longer clustered and color coded.

The quarantine pass was removed due to some issues here. I had to get this color blue ID from the barangay unit again. Starting tomorrow, going to malls was suspended.
