with my kitchen renovation. I thought it would take me 3-4 days until I am finished putting on the new wallpapers in our kitchen. We needed only 2 afternoons until evening.
The scratching of the kitchen old wallpapers took me 6 hours and 6 hours putting the new wallpapers. Last night I was very tired that I went to sleep early and had eaten only an apple for my supper. Most of the work was done by myself as my hubby has a back issue and COPD. How I wish someone did that for us but it is still difficult to let someone come into our house and renovate for us.
Anyway, I am happy that my kitchen is looking good now. The hard work was worth it. It will take years again for the next renovation of our kitchen.
Have you done renovating your home? Did you like it?
Thanks for reading. I will be taking care of my notifications now until I go to bed.

I'm amazed that you did the renovation by yourself. I'm sure back home there'd always be somebody whom you can call to do the work for you.

@thelme55 I'm glad you learned DIY. People abroad usually do by themselves what could be done unlike back home where we have the luxury of tradesmen who do the job for us.

@sunrisefan Yes. That´s what we do. At home, it is not so much expensive to pay the laborer but here, we save our money for doing it ourselves.

I have learned to do it when my husbands´friends helped us renovating our first apartment. It was fun although it was a lot of work. Since then, we do the wallpaper renovation and painting the rooms when we wanted to. We have saved a lot of money. Yes, in Pinas I always have somebody to work for me. Thanks @sunrisefan

I'm glad your project went so well. We aren't doing any renovating at the present time. There is a lot that needs to be done.

Our home needs a lot of renovation and restoration. I
It's a century old ancestral home. My problem is it's hard to find good carpenters now. If you get the best it's very expensive. Mostly are also working full.time.

It really costs a lot of money to renovate a house especially the old ancestral house of your parents. I love those kinds of houses. Thank you @florelway

That is a lot of work, but you did a great job!
We haven't done any renovating, though we probably should, it is just the lack of money and also the temperature that kind of stops us.
