A Co-Inky-Dinky?

Earlier this year the South was hit by a tornado outbreak during Holy Week. As I was watching the coverage of the disaster I saw the Salvation Army pulling up to set up shop to help the victims. GREAT! I wrote them a check. THEN.......... I started getting gobs and gobs of "snail mail" from various charities, all begging for my money. None of these charities were ones I had ever donated to, or even contacted, before. Plus, my ration of junk -- ahem, business bulk -- mail from the Salvation Army has been enough to wallpaper every house in my neighborhood. All since I wrote that check out in May. It may be purely a co-inky-dinky that I just started getting all of these never-before-contacted charities killing trees to beg me for money since then; however, the more logical theory is that someone sold/shared their donors list to/with other organizations. Whatever the case....I'm not very pleased. This isn't true anymore:
I appreciate the music publishers for allowing these little heard gems to stay on my channel. I'm not trying to make money here or step on anybody's toes wit...

I only have to think about a topic and it shows up in my feed. I bet you start getting lots of internet spam as well.

It's annoying to sign up for something then get bombarded by dozens of other stuff. I'm thinking emails rather than regular mail.
