Fall Mums Were on the Shelf

That time of the year. A lot of people will buy mums (chrysanthemums) in the fall. They are nice for a little while. They come in yellow, orange and I like the burgundy color.
I saw some yellow ones while out yesterday but passed for now. Prefer the burgundy color. I have seen neighbors have bought many of these and have them on their porches.
After they bloom you can plant them in your garden. I never had any luck but might try it again. The colors are always gorgeous in the fall.

I was at Lowe's the other day and noticed they were displaying their mums at the front entrance to the store. Such beautiful colors! I wish they could bloom all year long!

They look beautiful. If I had a garden and found one of this I'd definitely plant them!

I have seen them for a couple of weeks now. Many types wont come back here as we get too cold.

I realise that I wouldn't recognise chrysanthemums if a ton of them fell on me! Still, nice looking flowers. I was quite pleased to see a solitary poppy appear in my front planter, although it is looking a bit rough after some heavy rain

That's beautiful. I hope I could do some planting, too, this year.

They are not long lasting in or out of a garden!
