September 5 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Getting old is not for wimps. I'm in pain. I've had the massage pad on for the past hour on the chair. I don't think it's working the way I want it to. So, I'm getting off the computer and call it quits for the day. I'm thankful I got my walk this morning before the pain in my lower back set in. Not my knees, thankfully. I'm thankful I found my heating pad. When you put things away you don't want little fingers to play with, you need to remember where you put them. I looked in every closet twice and no heating pad. I decided to look in my dresser drawers. Don't ask why I put it there, I'm just glad I finally found it. I'll be putting it on my lower back in a few minutes. I'm thankful I got an e-mail telling me my glasses were sent on the 3rd. I should have them by Tuesday. At least that's my expectation. It looks like I have only one week of swimming left before surgery. I got an envelope with a stack of pre-surgery papers in it with appointments. I have an appointment every morning for the week before surgery. That's what's going on here. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
