...until this heat dies down.
Again I had to wait to take Angel for a walk until eight p.m.
Didn't have my camera with me, but we had started going down a side street when I saw what I thought was a cat running across the road. For a second it stopped and looked in our direction, and I saw the "mask".
It wasn't a cat, it was one of the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Raccoons" I've been told live in the corner sewer on that street. One of the folks on the street told me there were raccoons down there when Angel stopped and sniffed the open sewer entrance. I don't know if Angel noticed it or not, but I made sure we stayed on the opposite side of the street and watched it go back down into the sewer as we walked by.
It's a bit cooler, so I opened a few windows to let the cool air in. Not looking forward to more ridiculously high heat tomorrow.
