Day 32
Promise 490
Luke 11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
10 For everyone who asks receives; and he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks it shall be opened.
Everyone has needs they can’t take care of on their own. They need help. The only way to get help is to ask. You won’t find answers without asking. You won’t find what you lost without looking. And you won’t gain entrance without knocking.
Jesus told the people everyone who followed those steps would get everything they sought.
As Christians, you won’t gain biblical knowledge without studying God’s Word. You must ask the Holy Spirit to help you with your study. You must pray for what you need and God will answer. Jesus isn’t the only one who stands at the door knocking. When you knock on God’s door, He will always answer.
Luke 11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you who is a father, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
12 Or if he shall ask for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them who ask him?
Jesus gave you instructions to find the answers. When you follow instructions, He will always provide the answers you seek.
Let’s pray: Father, I can’t live in this world without You. Help me seek You in everything I need. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
