What Is Up With The Mask Shaming

I saw a media person on the street asking people if they would wear masks. One guy just shrugged his shoulders and say he didn't think it was important to do so. I see online where a popular actress is shamed for choosing to wear a mask during a workout. What is with people? Just because our president choses to be a bad role modern and not wear one doesn't mean we shouldn't care for our fellow man and have enough respect for the people around us to wear one when we are out and about.

@celticeagle Madness. I quite like wearing a mask now. I might continue so to do in future to avoid breathing in other people’s germs in general.

@piyushbhatia1 Those who refuse to wear a mask, could be infected and infect the others.

When anyone complains about having to wear a mask, I tell them that it's better than wearing a respirator.

We always wear our masks when we go out. I don't want to get sick.

If the leader is doing this how can we expect the masses to get better

That doesn't really make a lot of sense.

@porwest ........Smarter is right, but I am talking about respecting your fellow man. Wearing a mask is not just for the individuals safety but for those around them.

@celticeagle Sure it does. Covid has largely been something hyped up by the media. I am not saying it isn't real. I am simply saying that when you have less than half a percent of the entire US population in the ground, something simply isn't adding up.
Not that the two are the same thing, but over 600,000 people in the US die from cancer each and every year.

In some establishments here it is even required to wear a face shield on top of the mask.
It is not only for the safety of others, but also for the person wearing it.
