Collage Showing Sedum Color Phases

This collage was requested by Jose @jvicentevalera to show the phases of my Autumn Joy Sedum in Dustin's garden. This plant is amazing to watch over the season. It starts out as green, then pink, then gradually changes to a dark burgundy in the final phase at the end of October. The process starts around July and goes through October, depending on the weather. Last year the burgundy stayed in bloom through the end of October. The best part is the perennials will be cut back, and next spring they start all over again. Nature is amazing.

That is such an interesting and lovely plant. I had a similar kind in Latvia. I started off all green in spring and then turned pink through the summer

The colour changes are quite dramatic, aren't they? That's a great idea to do a collage of them.
