September 11 2001 I woke up about 8 am put to the television turned on and the unforgettable images of those towers burned in my mind I called Nonna to make sure she was okay and my Aunt Linda who would die just a few months later. I was in college at the time but before I went to class my Mother and Kami came to tell me classes had already been canceled due to threats already being made I remember the kids and I getting all the change we could gather and giving it to red cross in the next few weeks.

At the time, I was standing in my living room and watched those planes hit the towers on television. The entire country was paralyzed with fear and anxiety. I will never forget that day as long as I live.

It was night time here and I was on my way home from a church activity when the elders informed us of what happened

My younger son was sick and home from school. He was watching cartoons when my neighbor called telling me a plane hit the first tower. I changed the channel to the News. I woke up husband who was off work and we sat glued to the TV in our pajamas for hours. We were mortified when the two towers fell!
