Welcomed Visitor: Gecko

September 10, 2020 11:32pm CST
I know it's a bit unusual. But exciting to tell. This small lizard, about 5 inches, accidentally got inside our house and played dead for around 10-15 minutes. My children had a great time watching it play dead and noticing its eyes and head move a little bit every now and then. Probably surveying our sun room and planning an escape. "I had a great time taking macro shots of it too!" My husband says. They saw its eyes move.

Great shot. We get geckos in Florida, but they look much smoother-skinned.

@everwonderwhy They are cute! Fortunately, we never had them in our condo or they wouldn't be so cute.

@DianneN . Our gecko came in through the deck. the doors were wide open. Thankfully, it wasn't a snake!

Yes, after the photo shoot. They led him out through the deck door into the bush again. Hubby did very well with macro, didn't he? Or was it telephoto? Not sure.

Yes, it was. Hubby was so lucky for such a unique subject, and it was inside the house!

It was misdirected for probably it's seeking for its food like mosquitoes and small insect's.
