Day 35
Promise 493
Luke 12:11 And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:
12 For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say. (KJV)
Have you ever felt tongue-tied? You didn’t know how to answer questions put to you when confronted. Instead, you stared at your feet or anywhere else but the person asking the questions.
Jesus told His disciples not to worry about what to say when confronted by authorities because of Him. They would know what to say because the Holy Spirit would teach them.
As Christians, when confronted about your faith, the Holy Spirit will always come to your defense. You don’t need to ponder about what to say or worry about giving a wrong answer.
The Pharisees and those in authority always confronted Jesus about His authority. He never lacked an answer because His answers came from God His Father. Yours will too when you trust the Holy Spirit to lead and teach you what you should say in any circumstance.
1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man who asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed who falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
The Holy Spirit has your back in everything you do. Trust Him when confronted by those who want to accuse you unjustly.
Let’s pray: Father, put Your Word on my tongue when confronted by those who would condemn me for my faith in You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

This is very true. I'm not very good at speaking in a group at all. I'm better one on one. There have been several times in life that I've had to go out of my comfort zone and although it was a little rough in the beginning, I've always been able to come through it. I thank the Holy Spirit for that.

I have experienced that. I was tasked to talk in the Church for I haven't prepared. I was tongue-tied but as I opened my spiritual words just keep coming out.
